The project targets underprivileged students in Lebanon, aged between 6 and 24, who have been impacted by the ongoing economic and social crises. These students are enrolled in primary schools, secondary schools, universities, and both public and private technical institutes.
The most in-need beneficiaries include low-income families, orphans, and children from struggling households. These groups often suffer from limited financial resources, making it difficult for parents to continue financing their children’s education. Many students are forced to drop out of school, university, or vocational training due to high educational costs. The Zakat Fund in Lebanon aims to support and empower these students by creating a positive and sustainable impact, helping strengthen the social safety net and achieve educational and social stability.
Main Objectives of the Project:
- Promote and support education within the community.
- Ensure access to educational opportunities for all, especially those affected by economic hardship.
- Create an encouraging and suitable learning environment to help students benefit fully from their education and build a better future.
- Provide targeted and effective support by directing aid to the most financially vulnerable students.
